Our words above the door

Affordability, Opportunity, Quality

We aim to improve quality of life for Cumbrian families by providing the following opportunities:

• Option to buy quality second hand furniture & white goods at affordable prices
• Gain employment skills and work experience in volunteer roles
• Access to furniture for those in severe hardship or who are fleeing domestic violence

And it doesn’t stop there; we also provide the following community benefits:

• Prevent 700 tonnes of reusable furniture from going into Cumbrian landfill sites each year
• Support and raise money for a Cumbrian charity every year – This year we are supporting The North Air Ambulance

M&S donate's staff time to make over Impact Furniture Store

A huge thank you to Marks and Spencer, Workington branch staff team, who have donated £500.00 and three days of staff time to carry out a makeover of the store as part of its community programme.

This has made a huge difference to the store and to customers shopping experience.

The store looks fabulous.

Thank you also to B&Q and Jeff Taylor who donated paint and carpets.
